Specialties & Services

I work with people of all genders and sexualities, centering work with non-binary, trans, and queer communities, as well as those who are questioning, around identity and relationships. In my work with couples and partners, I welcome and support folks in a variety of relationship structures including monogamy, non-monogamy, and polyamory.

I help people address and work through:

  • Depression

  • Guilt and shame

  • Low self-esteem (including feelings of not being enough, feeling inherently wrong or bad, or a deeply held belief or sense of not belonging)

  • Co-dependency

  • History of trauma (including partner violence, emotional abuse, or other forms of interpersonal violence)

  • Relationship distress (communication issues, opening up, attachment wounding, difficulties with sex and intimacy)

  • Athletic performance (college athletes seeking additional support navigating performance anxiety, emotion regulation, and additional stressors associated with balancing life/work/school/athletics)

I currently work with adults ages 21+ (individuals and couples/partners).

I am very queer affirming and work from a trauma-informed and anti-oppression lens. My style is open, attentive, playful, collaborative, and person-centered, integrating psychodynamic, narrative, and attachment-based therapy approaches. The breadth of my training and experience is in relational and interpersonal process-based therapy approaches, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and Embodied Intimacy and Relationship Coaching via The Embody Lab. I practice with the understanding that context, identity, and the current cultural moment we are in all impact our sense of self and our most intimate relationships.

With individuals, I encourage my clients to bring all parts of themselves to our sessions and to share about how our work together is feeling and landing. I understand the relationship between therapist and client as a unique space for learning and gaining insight into patterns, a place to experience the warmth of authentic relating and care, and a wonderful tool for healing.

With couples and partners, I most often utilize concepts from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and psychoanalytic schools of thought. What this will feel like is me seeking to understand with you the roots of patterns within the relationship and working to create moments of connection through strengthening emotional resonance, addressing attachment-based reactions, and cultivating new ways of responding to and caring for each other together during our sessions.

If you are navigating relationship difficulties, noticing old patterns re-emerging, or moving through a particularly painful time individually, I would love to help.
